Races...

I finally got my gymnastics meet schedule for the 2012 - 2013 competition season. I pretty excited that they got it to us a little early this year, which means I can start planning my race schedule around their meets. I would really like to do a half marathon in March and with a meet the weekend of March 16/17th that leaves out the bigger local races. Hopefully the B&A Trail Half will work out for me, other wise I may be traveling a little longer than I would like for a race. Either way, I'm sure I will find something.

Talking about race schedules, I pretty much have mine almost planned out.

VA is for lovers 14k - Feb 9 2013
undetermined half marathon - sometime in March
Rumpuss in Bumpass oly tri - April 2013
Kinetic Half (aqua velo) - May 2013
IM Raleigh 70.3 - June 2rd 2013
Rev 3 Williamsburg 70.3 - June 23rd 2013
???? - July
IM Mount Tremblant 140.6 - August 18th 2013

Umm... I have no clue what I'm doing after ironman, but I did sign up for one race:

Rock n Roll Cleveland Half Marathon - Oct 5th 2013

Also, if any of these races look fun to you, come join me :)

Happy Friday All and hope everyone has a great weekend.

  1. I'll see you in canada :)

I'm not nearly that organized about next year's schedule yet. So many options! So little time!

  2. Looks good! I'm going to look up the rumpuss one...timing works for me and a friend to meet up...what do you think of the Rev3 races? Better organized than IM events? Planning my first half for next year and I want to do one that the fam could easily spectate.

    1. I have never done a Rev3 Race before, WIL will be my first. I hear good things about them though.

  3. Maybe just do a century ride in July? You'll be totally IM focused at that point. Or do a fun 5k or something like the 4th of July one that Pacers does? I am loving scheduling out my 2013 :)

  4. I might be able to be convinced to do the Rock 'n' Roll Cleveland race, hmm. Cleveland is only 4 hours from us!
